Welcome to Bovidae At Play, home of weblit by capriox bovidae! My primary project at the moment is preparation for the serialized novel "The Elemental Magician." Check out the links at the top to read other serial fiction, short stories, and poetry I've written.

"The Elemental Magician"
Eli has trained his whole life to handle his powerful magic abilities, but no one ever taught him how to handle royalty. Now he's rescued a foreign princess and life will never be the same.

Currently in preparation.

"Strong Heart"
Jo was born a female, but her desert tribe made her officially a man so she could train as a warrior. Now she's a mercenary guard, and thanks to a job with a magician, life is about to get even more... interesting.

The story is on hiatus for the remainder of 2011.
